Did you receive a SPAM e-mail from an e-mail address from MotorSportsNews.Net?

If so, we did not send it.

Chances are it’s a e-mail spoof. What’s that?

E-mail spoofing is the forgery of an e-mail header so that the message appears to have originated from someone or somewhere other than the actual source. Distributors of spam often use spoofing in an attempt to get recipients to open, and possibly even respond to, their solicitations. (SearchSecurity.Com)

Our webmaster’s computer has the latest anti-virus protection on it from AVG, and the virus definitions are updated automatically as needed.

We would never knowingly send out SPAM e-mails. Our Stock Car Gazette e-zine is only sent to those who add themselves to the mailing list, and a confirmation is required before that e-mail address is added.
