It’s been a good year for The MotorSportsNews.Net(work). Thank you to everyone who’s stopped by and visited for a while. I thought we’d have a look at some of the major articles written during the last year.
So, here are our top 5 articles from 2017:
Coming in first was columnist Stephen Cox’s write up of his opinion on how to bring fans back to motorsports racing. This is still a good read if you haven’t read it yet. Stephen is a race car driver and announcer for the Mecum automobile auctions.
Second, we have senior columnist Chuck Abrams’ article on what is wrong with NASCAR. Chuck wrote this article back in March after a particularly bad attendance weekend at Phoenix.
Coming in third is Abrams’ article on Carl Edwards “stepping away from the sport, but not using the ‘R’ word” , written back in January.
Fourth is Cox’s article on how to save the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, written in September.
Finally, we have Abrams’ article on why Dale Earnhardt Jr. retiring is such a big deal, written in April.
