Yes, we know it looks about the same, but there are a lot of changes behind the scenes.

The only bad part (so far) is that our older articles and postings are not available.

We hope to fix this in the near future.

Sports Car racing, now under a single banner as Grand-Am and Petite LeMans merged last year, has its problems. Specifically, the series isn’t drawing big crowds nor making inroads to achieve good TV ratings.

Even with perfect weather, attendance at the Circuit Of The Americas in Austin, Texas for the Petite LeMans race this year was pathetic. That new track hosted the first GP of the US in quite a while. According to Auto Week, the crowd count wasn’t more than 5,500 – if they were lucky. And that was for the entire three-day weekend.Read More →
