Welcome to the 2016 Chase, Kyle Larson!

What a weekend of racing. All three NASCAR races saw first-time winners. In the Cup race at Michigan, Kyle Larson finally caught all the breaks and got his first win. Michigan is not known as a kind track for first-time drivers. In fact, Dale Jarrett was the only other first-time winner and that was back in 1991. So yeah, it was kind of a big deal.

Rookie Chris Buescher pulled off the upset win of 2016 for Front Row Motorsports in the rain delayed Pocono 400. The King always said, you need to put yourself in a position to win and that’s all you can do at the end of a race. Well Buescher and team made the right call at the right time when a thick as pea soup fog rolled in and shut down the race.
