CHANDLER, Arizona – October 19, 2021 – Radford Racing School announced today the debut of a Trans Am Racing program making it the only school in the U.S. to offer such a racing experience. The new Trans Am program was developed in collaboration with legendary driver development coach and champion NASCAR and Xfinity Series racer Chris Cook, who has trained some of the world’s greatest drivers including Tony Stewart, Joey Logano, Clint Bowyer, and Johnny O’Connell, a four-time winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue with a trip to Kansas Speedway on October 24. Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT will use the race as an opportunity to make his return to the top level, and he will partner with Gaunt Brothers Racing while making the start.
Joey Logano of Middletown, CT saw his hopes of pointing his way into the Championship 4 go up in smoke at Texas Motor Speedway Sunday (Oct. 17) … literally.
Waterbury, VT and Naples, ME — The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is returning to Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Oval track promoters the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today they have reached an agreement with NASCAR to host the Thompson 150 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
One of the Northeast’s most promising up & coming young talents, Jake Trainor, topped off a dream season, winning the NEMA Lites Championship, and taking down both the NEMA and Lites victories at the New-London Waterford Speedbowl this past Saturday evening. Randy Cabral finished 4th in the NEMA feature, good enough for him to capture his 8th championship, and the 10th overall for Bertrand Motorsports.
Of course they can! But it is an interesting look at the way the playoffs are shaping up. Take Texas for instance. Kyle Larson dominated the race and a few playoff drivers kept their hopes alive but the Top 5 was actually dominated by drivers who have already been eliminated and 5 of the Top 10 drivers aren’t even in the playoffs.
