CLAREMONT, N.H. – Russ Hersey continued his incredible out-of-retirement October winning streak, Justin Beecher soared to victory in the Super Streets, and Cole Littlewood, aboard a totally unfamiliar ride, dominated the Pro V8 Sportsman feature Saturday at Claremont Motorsports Park.
No fewer than a dozen feature events were contested Saturday, as the historic Thrasher Road speedplant hosted day two of its ambitious 2024 Fall Challenge three-pack. A staggering field of 106 cars filled the pits Saturday, none faster than the rocketship Little Webb’s 350 Super Modifieds, which blasted through two 25-lap feature events. (more…)

Oxford, ME — One last go-round for the ACT Flying Tiger Tri-State Series brought twenty-four Vermont and New Hampshire drivers over the border to the State of Maine for Saturday’s championship finale for the three-race series at Oxford Plains Speedway. While an end-of-season Flying Tiger showdown has been held annually at Oxford Plains since 2019, Saturday’s showcase became a first for ‘North America’s #1 Support Division’ with a point-counting event crowning a champion at the 3/8-mile Maine oval! SMART Modified Tour, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Wins in North Carolina
Justin Bonsignore found himself in North Wilkesboro Speedway Victory Lane twice this weekend. The driver of the No. 51 Phoenix Communications machine for Kenneth Massa Motorsports swept the weekend of Modified competition at the historic track – winning both the SMART Modified Tour season-finale 99 on Saturday and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Brushy Mountain Powersports 150 on Sunday. Schoolcraft, Curtis, Templeton Win Friday At Claremont
CLAREMONT, N.H. – Cam Curtis caught the break of the night Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park. It was a good one. For Robbie Curtis, same event, same turn, not so much.
Curtis won the Outlaw Late Model main event on day one of the historic oval’s three-day 2024 Fall Challenge event, Streeter had led all the way in the 30-lapper until two blundering backmarkers swept him up in the final turn, as both Curtis and Kyle Goodbout sped by. (more…)
Cannonball Reunion Photo Galleries Are Online
If you made it out to Goodwives for last Sunday’s 2024 Cannonball reunion, you were treated to another great show. Cannonballers Pam Yates, Brock Yates Jr and John Miceli were there. Dennis Tretter brought the second Cannonball Challenger, and several of the C2C racers came with their cars. Pete Boccarossa from Bocca Motors came down with one of his Lamborghini race cars and opened it up for anyone to climb into for photos. And John C brought a classic red Ferrari 365 GTB “Daytona” that has been in his family since it was new. (more…)
