Late Pit Strategy Pays Off For John Beatty Jr With $9,455 Victory In Oval Speed Unlimited Bubba 150
As the laps clicked off Saturday in the 5th annual Oval Speed Unlimited 150 NASCAR Modified event at Riverhead Raceway, John Beatty wondered if he and his team’s strategy to pit late in the race would leave them the only car not to pit for a change tire. Those fears were quelled when a caution flag flew with 28-laps left allowing Beatty of Merrick to pit for his new right rear tire. That, with some well-placed late cautions put John Beatty in position to win his second race in three weeks at Riverhead Raceway, earning $9.455 including lap money.
Granite State Pro Stock Series Announces Schedule Change for Speedway 95 Event
Walpole NH -June 9th 2024 – The Granite State Pro Stock Series announced tonight a significant change in their upcoming schedule. The highly anticipated $5,000 to win event initially set for Sunday, June 16th, at Speedway 95 in Bangor, Maine, has been rescheduled to Saturday night, July 20th.
Jencik & Lafayette Score Casella Waste Open 80 Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway; Rain Postpones Casella Open 80 to June 14th
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the Casella Waste Open 80 on Friday, June 7th. Connor Jencik was a first-time Stafford feature winner in the Limited Late Model feature and Jason Lafayette notched his first Street Stock feature victory of the 2024 season before rain postponed the remainder of the program. The Casella Waste Open 80 will be resumed from lap-6 next Friday night, June 14th and all rain checks from tonight’s Casella Waste 80 program will be honored. (more…)

Martin Truex Jr. Looks to Defend His Title at New Hampshire Motor Speedway
LOUDON, N.H. – NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) driver Martin Truex Jr. earned his first Loudon the Lobster at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) in 2023, and he’s looking to capture another on June 23 at the USA TODAY 301. Truex, who finally landed in victory lane last year after his 30th start at “The Magic Mile,” spoke to media Wednesday in advance of New England’s only NASCAR weekend. (more…)
