Talman, Gray, Matthews, Hydar, & Waterman Score July 10th Arcari Motor Sales Underdog Night Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway was back in action on Friday, July 10 with the Arcari Motor Sales Underdog Night.  Special contingency for this event was provided by Paul Arcari from Arcari Motor Sales which paid each 5th place feature finisher tonight an extra $550 and each 15th place finisher a $55 bonus.  Troy Talman took down his first win of the season in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray took his third win in the Late Model feature, Chris Matthews was a winner for the second time this season in the SK Light feature, Travis Hydar was also a second time 2026 winner in the Limited Late Model, and Ryan Waterman continued his domination of the Street Stock division with his sixth consecutive win and eighth win in ten starts this season.

Bill Cote Looking to Capture First Stafford Street Stock Win in Midstate Site Development SS 30(Stafford Springs, CT)—Now in his sixth season of Street Stock competition at Stafford Speedway, Belchertown, MA native Bill Cote is still in search of his first feature victory.  Cote and his #69 Roy’s Auto Service team have come agonizingly close to a first victory, scoring a second place finish at the end of the 2024 season before posting a pair of third place finishes during the 2025 season.  Cote has yet to visit the podium in 2026, but he has posted top-8 finishes in every race this season.  Cote will be looking to break into NAPA Victory Lane this Friday, June 26 when the Street Stock division takes to the track for its biggest race of the season, the Midstate Site Development Street Stock 30.

Homestead Comfort Joins Stafford Speedway Contingency Program for 2026(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the start of the 2026 racing season at Stafford Speedway fast approaching, the track has announced another new member of its contingency program.  Homestead Comfort of Ellington, CT is the latest company to sign on as a contingency sponsor.  Homestead Comfort will provide a weekly bonus of $75 to each SK Light third place finisher during the 2026 season.

New England Racing Fuel Continues to Power Stafford Contingency Program(Stafford Springs, CT)—New England Racing Fuel with John Holland and Mike Joy will once again be a Stafford Speedway contingency program partner for the 2026 season.  New England Racing Fuel will reward the top-3 finishers from each of Stafford’s five weekly divisions plus the highest finishing rookie driver in each division with a fuel certificate.  New England Racing Fuel was the first company to join the Stafford Speedway contingency program when it was inaugurated for the 1999 season, and they have been a part of the program every year since.  The 2026 season will mark New England Racing Fuel’s 28th consecutive season in the program that has seen them reward Stafford competitors with nearly $200,000 in free gasoline.

Gary Rice Shop Equipment to Continue Boosting SK Modified and SK Light Drivers at Stafford Speedway(Stafford Springs, CT)—After joining the Stafford Speedway contingency program midway through the 2025 season, Gary Rice Shop Equipment will return for a full season in 2026.  Gary Rice Shop Equipment will provide first place bonuses to each SK Modified® and SK Light feature winner with SK Modified® winners taking home an extra $150 and SK Light drivers an extra $125.
