Thompson, CT — While sunshine brought fans and teams back to Thompson Speedway in droves to wrap up the 2023 season at the 5/8-mile oval, both groups were also welcomed with good news. It was announced at the drivers meeting on Sunday that the partnership between the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series organizations will continue to lease the Thompson Speedway oval for the 2024 season. Stockwell Wins First Late Model Main Saturday At Monadnock

Justin Brown Prevails At Riverhead Raceway For Second NASCAR Modified Win Of 2023

When one of the most hotly contested NASCAR Modified events at Riverhead Raceway concluded Saturday night, Justin Brown of Manorville, who moved to the lead with seven laps left in the 50-lap event took home the victory in the Optimum Presents a Salute to First Responders feature event. Brown came out on top of a torrid three car tussle to claim his second win of 2023, third of his career.

Heading into the third and final WMT event of the 2022 season at Riverhead Raceway it was announced live pit stops on the infield of the quarter mile oval would be introduced. Right from that disclosure skeptics arose with questions of logistics, and safety.
