First Of Two Free To The Public Practice Days Set For Riverhead Raceway Saturday April 23rd
Following a decades old Long Island racing tradition, Riverhead Raceway owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz are hosting two free to the public practice days at the famed quarter mile with the first session scheduled for this Saturday April 23rd. A second practice day is also set for Sautrday April 30th. Goodale & Catalano Bring Early Season WMT Championship Tussle To Riverhead Raceway
The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour resumes action at a familiar venue resuming after a five week hiatus returning to action for the Miller Lite 200 Saturday night May 14th at Riverhead Raceway. Two Empire state drivers that live at opposite ends of the state, Eric Goodale of Riverhead and Tommy Catalano of Ontario, NY will come to the Miller Lite 200 tied for the early season WMT championship lead. Riverhead Raceway 2021 Champions To Receive Awards Sunday April 3rd
Riverhead Raceway officials announced today the twice postponed 2021 championship awards presentation will take place Sunday afternoon April 3rd at The All-Star of Riverhead. Track owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz will present nine track champions with the traditional championship rings and plaques. The top five from the nine classes will also receive plaques, with seven Rookie of the Year drivers to be named. (more…)
Sean Glennon Teaming With Benimax Racing for 2022 Crate Modified Season at Riverhead Raceway
Northport, NY Feb. 3rd — As the off-season between 2021 & 2022 winds down, Sean Glennon of Northport is counting down the days to opening night at Riverhead Raceway Saturday, May 7th. That evening Glennon, 23 will make his debut with a new race team Benimax Racing of Miller Place owned by Stan Morabito. If the Benimax name sounds familiar it should as the organization won the previous two Crate Modified championships at Riverhead in 2020 and 2021.

JB Fortin Nails Late Race Restart For East-West Marine Supply Islip 300 Victory Sunday At Riverhead
If one of many on-line gambling sites were to list odds for the 5th annual East-West Marine Supply Islip 300 at Riverhead Raceway, JB Fortin’s name may have been somewhere in the middle of favorites to score the win. Sunday Fortin, 27 bet on himself during a late restart, making an impressive move to wrestle the lead away from Ryan Preece of Berlin, Ct. Fortin would survive two more restarts to score what some consider an upset win. The 300 was run one day later than scheduled due to severe weather Saturday that included a tornado to the southwest of the track. (more…)
