The old adage the more things change the more they stay the same comes into play where the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Riverhead Raceway’s relationship is concerned as the WMT stars will visit the historic Long Island oval three times in 2021 starting with a 200-lap event Saturday evening May 15th. Entering the 2020 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Series season at Riverhead Raceway one of the most anticipated aspects of the original race schedule put forth by track management was the announcement of a four race Crown Jewel Series for the NASCAR Modifieds.
