The new season is right around the corner for short-track veteran Woody Pitkat. Officially announced Tuesday, Pitkat will return to compete full-time with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in 2025. The series has jumped to a 10-race schedule for the new year, spread across seven different tracks from March to October.
Pitkat will drive for Jett Motorsports on the Tri-Track Series – a team owned by Jariah Roderick and Steve Rollins. The team will run eight of the 10 events with the No. 88, sponsored by Infinity Homes, Gunsmoke Stables and USNE Power.
Teddy Hodgdon Racing announced today their schedule for the 2025 season in the No. 55 Tour-Type Modified – one that will bring the team up and down the East Coast. For the first time in his career, driver Teddy Hodgdon will make five NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) starts. Ryan Preece Racing announced today that Luke Baldwin will compete in the full Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series schedule during the 2025 season. Baldwin will drive the No. 40 for Preece in eight of the 10 events and will pilot the No. 7NY for Tommy Baldwin Racing in the other two races, allowing him to compete for the championship.

JDV Productions recently announced that the Whelen Short Track Cup mini-series will include the May 31 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at Seekonk (Mass.) Speedway in 2025.
The Short Track Cup was made up in 2024 by the three Whelen Modified Tour events at Monadnock Speedway in Winchester, N.H. Monadnock will host two series events in 2025 on May 3 and July 19.
