Barre, VT — While officials remained optimistic at the conclusion of yesterday’s racing program, the weatherman was once again unkind to Thunder Road on Saturday morning. With a forecasted weather pattern similar to the one that pushed Thursday’s postponement, Thunder Road officials have made the difficult decision to hold off and postpone the McGee Hyundai of Barre program to a new Super Friday date on Friday, September 1st. With rain forecasted to come into the greater Barre area right at Thursday’s Thunder Road post time of 7:00pm and staying through to Midnight tonight, officials opted to play it safe and move the Nolato Night program to tomorrow, Friday, August 11th.
