Modified Racing Series Returns To Wiscasset Speedway For Exciting 75 Lapper

The Modified Racing Series made its return to Wiscasset Speedway on Saturday, July 9th for an action-packed 75 lap main event. The touring series, founded in 2004, runs a limited 7 race schedule and features some of the most talented Modified drivers in the Northeast. The drivers in Saturday’s lineup included Andy Shaw, Matt Swanson, Donnie Lashua and Derek Robie, among others.

A blustery & chilly June evening didn’t deter a large contingent of fans and race teams from packing into Wiscasset Speedway for the track’s annual Ames Ture Value NEMA Night on Saturday evening. The lightning-fast asphalt spring cars highlighted a full Group 1 program at Maine’s fastest track along with Pro Stocks, 4-Cylinder Pros, Super Streets, and Thunder 4 Minis.

Stoehr, Trainor Score AMES True Value Wins at Wiscasset Speedway

Avery Stoehr, back in his familiar Bertrand Motorsports 39, scored a convincing victory this past Saturday evening at Wiscasset Speedway, while Jake Trainor in the Seymour 29 charged through the field to dominate the Lites portion of the event.  The race was sponsored by Ames True Value Supply and Just Ask Rental which is a local family run business four generations strong – with ten 5th generation kids in the wings.

Nick Reno Scores First Pro Stock Victory Of 2022 At Wiscasset Speedway

The 2022 racing season at Wiscasset Speedway rolled on this past weekend with a full Group #1 program that included the Sweatt’s Concrete Thunder 4 Minis, Market 27 Super Streets, Brackett’s Market 4-Cylinder Pros, Norm’s Used Car Pro Stocks and the NELCAR Legends. Over 80 competitors lined the pits on Saturday for an exciting day of racing.
