Thompson, CT — Although rains dampened much of Friday’s planned mid-day practice sessions, the 61 Sunoco World Series was able to start off with a bang as the Milton CAT Modified Racing Series and Mighty Mini Stock Tour were both able to crown their touring champions and the Thompson Late Models saw a return champion in victory lane. This season the #31 Fairway Independent Mortgage Mike Rogers Team crew of Waterman and the #11 Hydar Construction crew of Hydar have combined to win 12 of the 14 races thus far with Waterman holding the edge with 7 wins to Hydar’s 5.
Josh St. Clair Wins 11th Annual Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout at Wiscasset Speedway
Wiscasset Speedway hosted their Group #2 Championship Night on Saturday, which was highlighted by the Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout. The annual event, founded by Dave Brannon and sponsored by Lee Mortenson and Four Season Synthetic, draws in some of the best Street Stock drivers from across New England. Corey Bubar Wins Bosowski Properties 150; Benjamin Clinches GSPSS Championship at Lee USA
LEE, N.H. – Corey Bubar was probably not the favorite to win Sunday evening’s Bosowski Properties 150. But in the season finale for the Granite State Pro Stock Series, Bubar stole the show.
The Windham, Maine, racer held off Jimmy Renfrew, Jr. to claim the $8,500 victory at Lee USA Speedway, closing out Lee USA Speedway’s year-ending Russ Conway’s Oktoberfest spectacular.

U.S. Legend Cars International (USLCI) is bringing the Road Course World Finals to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for the second consecutive year this weekend, Oct. 6-8.
