Matt Swanson Wins Second Consecutive Nor-Easter 75 At Wiscasset Speedway
Cloudy skies and a thick fog crept over Coastal Maine on Saturday night, but this didn’t stop Wiscasset Speedway from hosting their weekly Group #2 racing program. The night’s events included the Portland Glass Strictly Streets, Kennebec Equipment Rental Outlaw Minis, T&L Automotive Modifieds, Wood Pellet Warehouse Late Models and the visiting Milton CAT Modified Racing Series.

Oxford, ME — Sunday started off with many racers in doubt. Mists, both heavy and light, started the day at Oxford Plains Speedway as racers went through the preparation paces for the Pine Tree State 125. Being the Maine home for the American-Canadian Tour, the pits were filled with contenders, each eager to make their stake in the Tour’s long history at the venerable Vacationland oval.

Bertuccio Returns To Riverhead Modified Victory Lane, Grennan Rules Crate Mod 100
Nearly 16 years to the day, JR Bertuccio of Centereach returned to NASCAR Modified victory lane Saturday when he led wire to wire in a non-stop 50-lap feature at Riverhead Raceway. Rising driving talent Chase Grennan of Glen Cove scored a clean sweep in the Eagle Chevrolet 100 for the Crate Modifieds for his third win of 2023 after setting fast time in qualifying.
Woody Pitkat Wins GAF Roofing Open 80 At Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their fourth of five visits of the 2023 season on Friday, June 7th for the GAF Roofing Open 80. Woody Pitkat started up front and ran among the top-2 or top-3 cars all night long but he had to hold off a strong challenge over the final 10 laps of the race from George Bessette, Jr. in order to take the checkered flag. The Pembroke based Johnson family was set to hold another MX National at The Wick in Southwick, (MA) on Saturday July 8. Promoter Rick Johnson had this to say about the event. “Our ticket sales were up by 27 percent over last year! Last year at this time we were up 21 percent!”
