Thompson, CT — With doom and gloom forecasted for Wednesday, August 17th in Northeast Connecticut, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Officials have postponed the return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour to Thursday, August 18th. Kopcik Makes it Three-for-Three on Twisted Tea Tuesday at the ‘Big T’
Thompson, CT — The sights and sounds of Thompson Speedway reopened on Twisted Tea Tuesday last night in the heart of Northeast Connecticut. Four divisions made up the extra money, extra distance program with a spectacular fireworks presentation rounding out the show. MILFORD, Conn. – For the first time in over one month, Doug Coby will strap in behind the wheel of the Mayhew Tools No. 10 Modified this Wednesday night. Coby will be competing in the Phoenix Communications 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, as the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour returns to the high-banks for the first time in just under two years on August 17.
Anthony Flannery Looking to Put Bad Luck Behind Him In Stafford’s Lincoln Tech Open 80
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Anthony Flannery and the #25ct Fowler’s Auto Wrecking / Belltown Recycling team, good luck has been hard to find in 2022 when racing Open Modifieds at Stafford Motor Speedway. With 50 cars on hand for the NAPA Spring Sizzler® in April, Flannery was able to earn a starting position but a wreck not of his own doing ended his run. Flannery is hoping to not only get a top-10 finish this Friday night, August 19, in the Lincoln Tech Open 80, but also make it to the checkered flag.
Ben Rowe Driving Father’s Car in 49th Oxford 250
This past Saturday night, one of Maine’s greatest racecar drivers of all-time took the green flag for the first time in 2022. Fans in attendance at Oxford Plains Speedway were on the edge of their seats as Mike Rowe made his way through the Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model field over the 150-lap event.
