WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim Fuller winning a big race is nothing new, but the way he did it in the “Slate Valley 100” at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 26, was a bit of a surprise. The former Super DIRTcar Series champion stormed past dirt Modified hotshot Matt Sheppard and ran away from everyone to pocket $10,000 in the early-autumn special. Soper Celebrates 3rd Riverhead Raceway Modified Title In Four Years With A Win
Kyle Soper of Manorville celebrated his third Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified title in the past four seasons at Riverhead Raceway the only way he knows how, with a victory in the regular season finale. Soper, 25 came to the 50-lap event not only having secured the Riverhead title but also on Friday he was announced as the New York State champion in Division 1 of the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series. Renfrew Takes Home the Big Money at R&R Race Parts NH Fall Foliage 100
N. Woodstock, NH — Candia, NH’s Jimmy Renfrew Jr. took home more than $6,200 worth of purse and lap money with his victory in the R&R Raceparts NH Fall Foliage 100 at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 25. Renfrew withstood furious pressure from Kenduskeag, ME’s Kris Watson down the stretch, then nursed his Lemieux Racing machine home for the win after smoke started flowing from the rear end in the final few laps.
Doug Coby Closes Whelen Modified Season With Second-Place Finish At Stafford
STAFFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby came up one spot short of ending the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season in Victory Lane on Saturday, September 25 at Stafford Motor Speedway.
