2021 NASCAR Whelen Modified championship contenders Justin Bonsignore and Patrick Emerling reside in polar opposite ends of New York State. Bonsignore of Holtsville lives in the southern most part of the state, while Emerling of Orchard Park lives just south of the Canadian border in a suburb of Buffalo. All spring and summer long however their paths have crossed from Maine to Virginia as the battle for the 2021 NASCAR WMT crown. Leblanc Dominates at White Mountain for NEMST Win
N. Woodstock, NH — Berlin, NH’s Cody LeBlanc turned on the jets early and never let up on his way to the North East Mini Stock Tour (NEMST) victory at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 11. The former NEMST champion took the lead from Michael Viens on lap 9 of the 50-lap feature and sped off into the night to capture the $1,000 top prize.

RICHMOND, Va. — In his return to Virginia two decades after graduating from the University of Richmond, Doug Coby grabbed a top-five finish at Richmond Raceway on Friday, September 10. Coby drove the No. 10 Mayhew Tools entry to a fifth-place finish in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Virginia is For Racing Lovers 150 after running inside the top-10 inside the final half of the race. Season On A Somber Saturday Night At Riverhead Raceway
Despite the unthinkable tragic loss of Riverhead Raceway owner Eddie Partridge less than 24 hours prior the decision on whether to run Saturday night’s Tribute To Heroes by Optimum Business would have to be made. During the process those involved asked themselves one question. What would Eddie do? The answer was clear, he’d race and so the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program was presented as scheduled. Lanphear Becomes Newest Thunder Road Late Model Winner at WDEV-Calkins Night Classic
Barre, VT — Morrisville’s Brandon Lanphear topped one of the year’s most dramatic events at Thunder Road by taking the WDEV Radio/Calkins Portable Toilets Trophy Dash on Friday, September 10. Lanphear got the lead for good with three laps remaining in the 50-lap Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model feature, then held off Chris Roberts and Brendan Moodie for his first ever Late Model victory.
