Rogers Makes It 18 Consecutive Seasons Of Nascar Modified Wins At Riverhead Raceway
Coming into the final month of racing at Riverhead Raceway Saturday night defending Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified champion Tom Rogers Jr. of Riverhead had two goals on his mind. Try and go out and win the 50-lap feature event for long time team member Pete “Fuzzy” Jones who passed away earlier in the week and also continue his streak of at least one victory for the 18th consecutive race season. Monday Races Close Out Lime Rock Park’s 39th Historic Festival
Lakeville, Conn. (6 September 2021) Fans enjoyed another picture-prefect day of activity at Lime Rock Park as the 39th Historic Festival raced to a conclusion on Monday. With a Labor Day weekend tradition closing out under sunny skies, the fans, vendors, and racers packed up to head home with a new chapter of memories from an event that will celebrate its 40th edition in 2022.

Zych, Trainor Take Coveted Oswego Classic NEMA Victories
This past Saturday, the Northeastern rolled into the Oswego Speedway for the first time in nearly eight years. The wheel-to-wheel action of the midgets did not disappoint, topping speeds of over 135MPH at “The Big O”. John Zych triumphed after and intense battle with Matt O’Brien, and Jake Trainor came through the field to take down the NEMA Lites victory in thrilling fashion with three laps to go in the Feature event.
Sobotka Sizzles in the Drizzle to Win Vermont 200 at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Zach Sobotka was already having a dream weekend when he arrived at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on the morning of Sunday, September 5, and he headed home with an even bigger highlight and a huge paycheck. The 26-year-old opened his Labor Day holiday weekend by winning at Brewerton (N.Y.) Speedway and clinching that track’s Sportsman Modified championship on Friday night, and he wrapped it up by capturing the Fabian Earth Moving Vermont 200 and pocketing $12,942 in winnings on Sunday. Brown Gets Two in a Row at White Mountain Leaf Peepers 100
N. Woodstock, NH — Conway, NH’s Gabe Brown remained on fire at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park by triumphing in the Leaf Peepers 100 on Saturday, September 4. Brown took the lead from Foley Oil & Propane Late Model point leader Jimmy Renfrew Jr. with 12 laps remaining and then beat out Graniteville, VT’s Stephen Donahue in a wild and wooly finish to earn his second win in a row.
