Michael Wray Quietly Leading Late Model Standings at Stafford With a Family Assist

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Michael Wray and the #42 DMW Graphics Late Model team, the 2021 Late Model season at Stafford Speedway has gotten off to a start that most racers would envy. Through the first 8 races, Wray has posted a top-6 finish in all 8 starts, including two podium finishes. Wray currently leads the Late Model points standings with a pair of former track champions in Adam Gray and Michael Bennett right behind him. The only thing that Wray is missing at this point of the season is a feature victory.

Donnelly Dazzles Huge Crowd at Devil’s Bowl Speedway

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Chris Donnelly electrified a massive holiday dirt track racing crowd on Independence Day, Sunday, July 4, at Devil’s Bowl Speedway, winning the inaugural “Sprint Car Spectacular” event in dramatic fashion. Donnelly’s win highlighted a jam-packed card that also included a remarkable fireworks show and victories for Demetrios Drellos, Beau Reeves, Chris Murray, Chris Sumner, Greg Zindler Jr., Ray Hanson, and Eric Leno. Justin Bonsignore: The Road For A Two-Time Whelen Modified Tour Champion

When Justin Bonsignore started racing go-karts in New York, he couldn’t have imagined in a million years that he would become one of the top drivers in the history of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) just 15 years later. Becoming a two-time NWMT champion in 2020, Bonsignore jumped inside the top-10 in the all-time wins list and won his second title in three years, continuing to build a rock-solid resume.

Douglass Pro Stock Win And Kids Bike Races Spotlights Saturday Evening At Wiscasset

There’s no doubt the rainy conditions washed away the plans of many for the holiday weekend, including forcing many area race tracks to pull the plug. Wiscasset Speedway took advantage of a brief window of opportunity and managed to get in its July 3rd Group 1 Fan Appreciation show on Saturday evening.

Thunder Road Drivers Climb Cup Standings with Assist from Mother Nature

Waterbury, VT — The New England Late Model Challenge Cup (NELMCC) standings continue to shuffle as the regional weekly racing championship enters the month of July. Although Mother Nature wiped out most of the Challenge Cup action on Independence Day weekend, one participating track was able to get its program in, which allowed its drivers to roar up the rankings.
