Mckennedy, Trainor & Scally Win In Special Wednesday Night Open-Wheel Show At Seekonk Speedway
SEEKONK, Mass. — While the sun went down, the action heated up on Wednesday night at Seekonk Speedway for a mid-week, open-wheel special. The ISMA Supermodifieds returned to the third-mile for the first time in a decade, and Jon McKennedy rolled to a dominating victory, while the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites also hit the track. Jake Trainor won the 50-lap Lite special and Paul Scally etched his name in the record books as a NEMA winner in their 29-lap Boston Louie Seymour Memorial feature.

Much like fielding a race car operating a short track often finds teams having to make changes on the fly to find the right set up. Such was the case for Riverhead Raceway management team who on Tuesday announced adjustments to their 2021 schedule for late July and the first week of August. Chief among those changes is moving back the annual Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 one week to Saturday August 7th. The 77 is the second race of the 2021 in Crown Jewel Series for the Ted Christopher Cup. (more…)

Autograph Session and Pit Party Scheduled for SRX Racing Series Event at Stafford Speedway; All Proceeds to Plating Change

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway and the SRX Racing Series has added an autograph session and pit party featuring the SRX and SK Modified® drivers on Saturday, June 12th. The drivers competing in the TickMike.com SK Modified® All-Star Race will have their cars on display and will sign autographs from 3:00pm to 4:00pm while SRX drivers will sign autographs from 3:15pm to 4:00pm. Autographs from the SRX drivers will require a $20 ticket with all proceeds being donated to Camping World’s Plating Change Foundation.
