N. Woodstock, NH — Jefferson, NH’s Nick Pilotte went wire-to-to wire to win the Woodville Guaranty Savings Bank Strictly Stock Mini Special at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, May 22. Pilotte grabbed the lead right at the start from polesitter Jillian Baumgardner and handled a late challenge from rookie Luke Shannon to win the 50-lap main event in the first half of a doubleheader weekend.

It certainly didn’t come easy for former three-time Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified champion John Fortin Sr. of Holtsville Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway but when all was said and done at the conclusion of 50-laps the 57-year-old elder statesman of the division earned his 35th career victory. Woody Pitkat Wheels To Eighth Place Finish With Stan Mertz Racing At Star Speedway
EPPING, N.H. — Woody Pitkat wheeled the No. 6 Truly Hard Seltzer machine for Stan Mertz Racing to a solid eighth place finish in the Tri Track Open Modified Series race at Star Speedway on Saturday, May 22. Pitkat finished third in the qualifying heat, setting him up with a good starting spot for the 100-lap event. After running inside and around the top-10 for the duration of the race, Pitkat finished eighth and leaves the race sixth in the Tri Track point standings, just 16 from the lead, with four races to go.
Sam Rameau Finishes 12th With Tri Track Open Modified Series At Star Speedway
EPPING, N.H. — After a busy weekend at Star Speedway, Sam Rameau drove the Rameau Family Motorsports machine to a 12th place finish in the Tri Track Open Modified Series 100 on Saturday, May 22. Rameau finished fourth in his qualifying heat, and ran inside and around the top-15 for much of the race. It wasn’t the finish that the team wanted, but Rameau maintains second in the championship standings, just eight points off the lead, with four races remaining.

Strong Run For Justin Bonsignore Ends With Overheating Issue At Star Speedway
EPPING, N.H. — Justin Bonsignore ran inside the top-10 for most of Saturday’s Tri Track Open Modified Series event at Star Speedway, but the end result doesn’t show it. The Holtsville, New York, native, driving for Jimmy Paige and the No. 00 team, finished second in his qualifying heat and ran inside the top-five of the feature before pitting close to halfway.
