N. Woodstock, NH — Candia, NH’s Jimmy Renfrew Jr. made the most of a late restart to capture a heart-stopping Foley Oil & Propane Late Model feature at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, May 15. Renfrew went three-wide to snatch the lead from Whitefield, NH’s Christian LaFlamme with nine laps remaining in a 50-lap feature that became the leader in the clubhouse for White Mountain’s “Race of the Year”. Wreckers to Checkers: Merry Captures Career First NEMA Win; Trainor Best in Lites in LEE USA Opener
In a “wreckers to checkers” storybook ending, Matt Merry left Claremont Speedway last fall on a “double hook” with a badly damaged race car, and last weekend returned to LEE USA Speedway to capture his first ever feature event victory. In the Lites division, Jake Trainor drove the Seymour 29 to an impressive victory over the field, winning by nearly 3 seconds.
