F1 Legend Schumacher, Longtime Indy 500 ‘Voice’ Page Elected to IMS Hall of Fame
INDIANAPOLIS, Thursday, March 4, 2021 – Seven-time Formula One World Champion Michael Schumacher and longtime Indianapolis 500 broadcaster Paul Page comprise the 2021 class of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Hall of Fame.
Schumacher and Page were elected to the IMS Hall of Fame by the distinguished voting panel of 150 motorsports journalists, officials and living Hall of Fame members, chosen from a total of 14 nominees representing the Speedway’s diverse history as host to the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400 and, from 2000-2007, F1’s United States Grand Prix at Indianapolis.
Dan Wesson Ready for Breakout SK Modified® Season
With the dawn of the 2021 Stafford Weekly Racing season right around the corner, SK Modified® driver Dan Wesson is ready for a breakout season. The 2021 season will mark Wesson’s 7th season of modified competition at Stafford and his 4th season in the SK Modified® division. Since moving into the SK Modified® division in 2018, Wesson has yet to run a full season due to attending Wofford University in Spartanburg, SC, where he was the 2020 Southern Conference Air Rifle Champion. Joey Logano Reflects on Last Year as NASCAR Approaches Anniversary of COVID Pause
This weekend should be one full of happy memories for Joey Logano of Middletown, CT. The NASCAR Cup Series is heading to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the Pennzoil 400, which Logano won last season. It’s the same weekend the FanShield 500 ran at Phoenix Raceway in 2020, another race where the driver of the #22 took the checkers.
