New England Racers’ Results From Weekend’s Competition
Christopher Bell won the Cup race at COTA in Austin, TX with Joe Logano of Middletown, CT finishing 24th. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in 33rd.
Conor Zillich won the Xfinity race while Chris Wright finished 33rd behind the wheel of Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our’s entry. Both reside in Chatham, MA.
Down at St. Pete, Fl. Alex Palou won the Indy Car season opener while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT finished 14th.
Ken Roczen Conquers Daytona Supercross
Daytona, Fla., (March 2, 2025) Progressive Insurance ECSTAR Suzuki’s Ken Roczen became the sixth different Monster Energy AMA Supercross winner of the season in just the first eight rounds of racing. Roczen put in a strong charge just before the race’s midpoint to push from fourth place into the lead and earn his career-first Daytona Supercross victory in his 11th attempt. The 84th annual Bike Week at DAYTONA kicks off this Friday, Feb. 28 while Fall Cycle Scene will be held from Oct. 16-19 this fall.
