MILFORD, Conn. — The last time the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour was on the track, Doug Coby drove the No. 10 Mayhew Tools machine into Victory Lane at Riverhead Raceway on Sunday, June 20. Now — nearly a month later — the Whelen Modified Tour will return to the track for the seventh race of the season — marking the halfway point in the 14-race schedule — and Coby and his closest challengers are headed to New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Saturday, July 17.
