After having to cancel this weekend’s opening events due to continued water build-up in the parking areas along Route 26, next weekend’s doubleheader with the Oxford Championship Series on Saturday will serve as the 75th season opener for Oxford Plains Speedway. Switser Takes NHMS Northeast Classic Honors
Loudon, NH — Blue skies and sunshine greeted the teams and fans at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday morning for the 4th annual Northeast Classic. The season opener for the American-Canadian Tour also served as the third round for the PASS Super Late Models and lid-lifter for the R&R Race Parts Street Stock Open Series while also featuring a pair of exhibition events for the Open Tour-type Modifieds and the new Sunoco 604 Modifieds. Rain Pushes Back Northeast Classic By One Day, Now Saturday & Sunday Show At New Hampshire Motor Speedway
Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After watching the forecast, American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials have pushed the Northeast Classic back by one day this coming weekend. Instead of the originally scheduled Friday Practice and Saturday Race dates originally scheduled, the Northeast Classic will now begin with Practice Day on Saturday, April 13 and the 4th annual Northeast Classic will now be contested on Sunday, April 14. As such, camping will also be pushed back one day and campers can start parking on Friday, April 12 from 4:00pm to 7:30pm. (more…)
