ACT Tiger Tri-State Series Wraps Up with Vacationland 75 at Oxford Plains on Saturday

Barre, VT — After announcing the return of a true ACT Flying Tiger Tour last November, the 2024 Flying Tiger Tri-State Series comes to an end at Oxford Plains Speedway this Saturday, October 19. After starting off the season twenty-nine strong at North Woodstock, New Hampshire’s White Mountain Motorsports Park back in May and battling in the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 at Barre, Vermont’s Thunder Road Int’l Speedbowl in August, the Vacationland 75 is calling teams over from the Twin State area to take on the 3/8-mile Maine oval and wrap up the 2024 season in a fun way! Corliss Goes Back to Front for Community Bank N.A. 150 Win at Thunder Road

Barre, VT — The perfect race day greeted fans, drivers and teams Sunday morning high atop Quarry Hill in Barre, Vermont. For the 25th consecutive year, the American-Canadian Tour teams invaded Thunder Road to launch the Speedbowl’s upcoming season in grand style, yesterday proved that was still the case. Thirty-seven teams from across New England and Quebec were on hand to battle for the prestigious win at the hometrack of the American-Canadian Tour and battle they did. (more…)

Thunder Road Set to Open 64th Season with 25th Community Bank N.A. 150

Barre, VT — The anticipation has been building for Officials, drivers, teams and fans as opening day for The Nation’s Site of Excitement, Barre’s Thunder Road International Speedbowl gets ever closer. Defending track champions Christopher Pelkey, Sam Caron and Dean Switser, Jr. are all set to return this Sunday, May 7t to jump start the 2023 season in year 64 for the venerable Vermont speedbowl. Along with the locals come the invaders as the American-Canadian Tour comes home to celebrate the 25th Annual Community Bank N.A. 150.

J.P. Sicard Championship Night Signals the Beginning of the End at WMMP

N. Woodstock, NH — As Saturday approaches, so does the beginning of the end of the 2022 season with the closing of the first championship. After two stellar rounds already this season, the J.P. Sicard Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series will be determined by the final event this Saturday, August 13th. After simply dominating the last five, yes five, extra-distance Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tiger events at White Mountain, it’s Shane Sicard’s championship to lose, and that isn’t entirely out of the question.
