In 2024, Christopher won the race as an Open Modified 80 event and this season as an SK Modified® event. The victory is Christopher’s first of the 2025 season and extends his recent string of success in extra distance, big money events.

Christopher has been consistent as well as fast in 2025, being one of only 2 drivers to record a top-10 finish in each of the first three events. Although Christopher is leading the standings for the first time in his 11-year SK Modified® career, he is still looking for his first win of the season.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the Casella Waste SK 80 on Friday, June 6th with defending Street Stock champion Travis Downey capturing his first feature victory of the 2025 season. Just as Downey was taking the checkered flag, the skies opened up and with rain and lightning in the area, the remainder of the program was postponed to next Friday night, June 13th with a Street Stock feature added to the 80-lap Casella Waste SK 80-lap feature and the remainder of tonight’s program.
