Riverhead Raceway hosted the annual Back To School Monster Truck mid week spectacular Wednesday evening complete with six Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series feature events with Max Handley of Medford topping the list of race winners when he won the 25-lap Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modified event. The work week was broken up for Long Island race fans with a special midweek program at Riverhead Raceway Wednesday evening with eight feature event presented including a School Bus Demolition Derby. Owen Grennan of Glen Cove topped the 40-lap Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modified event for his third win of 2022, while Sean Glennon of Northport scored his third Super Pro Truck win of the season in a 30-lap tilt. Both races were the second for each class in the Miller Lite Triple Crown Series and were originally schedule for July 16th before being rained out. (more…)
