Barre, VT and Naples, ME — Officials, teams and race fans across Southern New England have double the excitement on tap this week with the Thompson Speedway doubleheader planned for Tuesday, August 16th and Wednesday, August 17th. Twisted Tea Tuesday starts the midweek doubleheader off with a bang as an exciting prelude to the Wednesday return of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

Modified Roar Returns to Thompson Speedway at Icebreaker

Waterbury, VT — When Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park comes alive for the Icebreaker April 10-11, the roar of Modified engines will once again hit the high-banks. The Sunoco Modifieds and SK Light Modifieds, Thompson’s two local open-wheel divisions, are back for another year and will compete at all six events during the 2021 season.
