Vallee-Jonction, QC — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returned to La Belle Province of Quebec on Saturday with 40 teams entering the pit area to smash the previous car count record set by the international Tour! Three rounds of qualifying whittled the forty-car group of hopefuls to just thirty starting spots.
St-Georges, Quebec driver Phillippe Poulin proved to be the lone Canadian heat race winner in the first with Cole Littlewood, Justin Prescott and Erick Sands collecting the checkers in the remaining three. The Quebecers came back with a vengence as Patrick Cliché and Dany Trepanier split the two consolation rounds and Dany Gariepy took the B-Feature victory to qualify into the Claude Leclerc 150.

When Joey Braun of Manorville rolled into the pit area Wednesday afternoon to make his NASCAR Modified debut with car owner Rich Gerbe, not even Joey, who exudes confidence could have predicted what was about to happen a few hours later. Executing a last lap pass coming to the checker flag, Joey Braun making his NASCAR Tour Type Modified debut at his home track put the new formed team in victory lane before a large midweek crowd. Braun’s win makes it eight different winners in ten 2025 NASCAR Modified events run to date.
