MacAskill Makes it Two in 2022 At Thunder Road

Barre, VT — The traditional Thunder Road Thursday Night opener in 2022 was a little more wet than anyone planned for and when the rains came, they came hard. With the constant threat of rain forcing officials to push the show along, Casella Waste Management Night schedule bobbed and weaved with the forecast. When it was all said and done, monsoon rains finally descended on high banks just after lap 35 of the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers feature leaving two teams from Williamstown very happy, albeit wet, campers. NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Set For Round Six at Monadnock Speedway Saturday

Monadnock Speedway will roar back to life this weekend, on Saturday, June 18, as a six-division card, headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, returns to the high-banks in New Hampshire.

Mike Christopher Jr. Pockets $5,000 Prize in Nutmeg State 75 Presented by Twisted Tea at Thompson

THOMPSON, Conn. – For the second time in as many starts at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in the 2022 Outlaw Open Modified Series season, Mike Christopher Jr. was in Victory Lane Wednesday at the Connecticut oval. Christopher rocketed to the lead with 58 laps complete in the Nutmeg State 75 presented by Twisted Tea and held off multiple challengers on multiple restarts to win the $5,000 prize.

Newly Minted New England Dwarf Car Series Invades White Mountain Saturday

N. Woodstock, NH — Thunder in the Mountains returns this Saturday, June 18 with five weekly White Mountain Motorsports Park divisions plus the New England Dwarf Car Series. The first season for the newly minted Dwarf Car Series under President Ben Bosowski has been going smashingly so far with 16 events on their schedule across New Hampshire and Maine.

Outlaw Open Modified Series To Headline Mid-Week Racing Action at Thompson Speedway This Wednesday

Close Finishes and Screaming Speeds Highlight Thunder Road Weekly Opener

Barre, VT — Friday’s 5-division card at Thunder Road opened the weekly racing series at the Barre, Vermont oval. The racing was some of the best seen at the storied highbanks this season with razor thin finishes and the fastest speeds ever witnessed at the 63-year-old speedbowl. In the end, it was Derrick Calkins who started his quest for the Myers Container Service Triple Crown on strong footing and New England ace Jon McKennedy who stole the debut show of the New England Supermodified Series.
