Waterbury, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has released the 2022 ACT Late Model Tour schedule. The series will once again hold 12 point-counting events throughout the Northeastern United States and Quebec with eight different tracks on the schedule.

Championships to be Settled Saturday at the Fairgrounds
Nashville, TN (Wednesday, November 17, 2021) – For six drivers, in two divisions, a season’s worth of effort comes down to one final race – this Saturday’s Quarter Mile Track Championships at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway (NFS). Only eight points separate the top three drivers in the Limited Late Model division and miraculously, only three points is the gap between first and third in the BH Holmes Construction Legends Car division. Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, Front Runners, and Bandoleros have championships to be settled as well, and it all takes place at 2:00pm on Saturday afternoon.
Michael Bennett Becomes a 2-Time Stafford Late Model Champion
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After two winless seasons driving for Rob Russell, Michael Bennett made the decision over the off season to go back to being an owner/driver in the hope that would help him get back to NAPA Victory Lane in Stafford Speedway’s Late Model division. Bennett and the #19 Aubuchon Hardware team not only found their way back to victory lane, but put together a season that saw Bennett win his second career Late Model championship at Stafford, which was his third overall career track title.

Alexandra Fearn Wins Limited Late Model Championship at Stafford to Become Track’s Second Female Champion
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After losing out on the 2020 Limited Late Model championship by virtue of a tie-breaker, Alexandra Fearn entered the 2021 Limited Late Model season at Stafford Speedway with some extra motivation. That motivation, combined with a good car and crew, helped guide Fearn to a season opening victory that she followed up with 5 more wins to propel her and the #12 Broad Brook Brewing / SAFCO Foam team to her very first track championship at Stafford.
Milton CAT to Present ACT Midsummer Classic 250 in 2022
Waterbury, VT & North Woodstock, NH — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) has announced an agreement with Milton CAT for them to sponsor the Midsummer Classic 250 at North Woodstock, NH’s White Mountain Motorsports Park. The equipment and power systems dealer will present the fifth edition of the $10,000-to-win ACT Late Model Tour event on July 30, 2022.
JB Fortin Nails Late Race Restart For East-West Marine Supply Islip 300 Victory Sunday At Riverhead
If one of many on-line gambling sites were to list odds for the 5th annual East-West Marine Supply Islip 300 at Riverhead Raceway, JB Fortin’s name may have been somewhere in the middle of favorites to score the win. Sunday Fortin, 27 bet on himself during a late restart, making an impressive move to wrestle the lead away from Ryan Preece of Berlin, Ct. Fortin would survive two more restarts to score what some consider an upset win. Oxford 250 Winner Returning to Snowball Derby
Cassius Clark has raced just twice in 2021 and won both times, with one of those being the biggest win of his career in the Oxford 250 back in August. He now has a third race scheduled on the first weekend in December with a chance at history. (more…)
Stafford Speedway Unveils 24 Event 2022 Race Schedule
(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 2022 Stafford Speedway schedule has arrived. 24 race days make up the 2022 calendar highlighted by 12 special events kicking off with the 50th anniversary of the NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler® April 23rd and 24th. Weekly racing will continue to be the core of the Stafford Speedway schedule with the SK Modified®, Late Model, SK Light Modified, Limited Late Model, and Street Stock divisions running weekly from May through September.
Quarter Mile Championship Night Coming To Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway November 20
