Busy Year Ahead Leads to Scheduling Adjustments for Local Late Model Events

Barre, VT —It was announced today by Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials that the 100-lap event for ACT legal Late Models originally scheduled for June 19 at Lee USA Speedway has been moved to Friday, August 7 to remove the scheduling conflict with the Keith Morse Memorial event at Riverside Speedway.

With the move, the Seacoast Late Model Challenge will still begin on Saturday, June 13 at Star Speedway followed by the Firecracker 100 at Lee USA Speedway on Friday, July 3. The Challenge will pick up with a second 100-lapper at Lee on Friday, August 7 before crowning the inaugural champion in the Don Francis Memorial 100 at Star on Saturday, August 15.

Montpelier, VT — The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officially closed out the 2025 season on Saturday night with the annual Banquet of Champions at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Montpelier, Vermont. Drivers, team members and supporters from all six New England states and the Canadian Province of Quebec joined in the annual end-of-season festivities.

Kulwicki Driver Development Program (KDDP) champion Derek Gluchacki started the night by collecting his Brookside Equipment Sales Triple Crown championship honors, later earning his seventh-place points award and a special recognition from the American-Canadian Tour for his successful Kulwicki Cup efforts.

Adam Gray, Stafford Speedway(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the 2025 season at Stafford Motor Speedway beginning to wind down and head towards crowning five track champions, the track’s Late Model division is set for their biggest race of the year, the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50.  The Late Model field will take to the track this Friday night, September 5th for their extra distance classic with 4-time Stafford Late Model champion Adam Gray leading the field.  2025 has been a self-admittedly up and down year for the driver of the #97 Meadows Motor Cars Chevrolet, but Gray will be looking to post a solid finish to kick off the final four races of the season.

(June 29, 2025) – 2020 Champion Mike Skeen returned to Victory Lane in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series for the first time since 2022, leading every single lap at Road America on his way to capturing the checkered flag. Polesitter Skeen’s No. 2 Guthrie’s Garage machine had dominant speed, allowing him to defend the point position through multiple restarts and pull out to tremendous gaps under green-flag conditions. Behind him, fifth-place starter Tristan McKee (No. 28 Spire/Gainbridge/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro) quickly advanced to the front and passed second-place starter Corey Day (No. 17 HendrickCars.com/SLR-M1 Chevrolet Camaro) on lap two, and the trio of TeamSLR-built M1 racecars defended their podium positions for the remainder of the race. Thomas Annunziata (No. 90 Gazoo Racing/Nitro Motorsports Toyota Camry), who made his first laps this weekend at Road America in the race, advanced from the 23rd spot to finish fourth, and seventh-place starter Valentin Aguirre (No. 12 Memo Corse/CAN/Elf Oil Ford Mustang) claimed his first-career top-five finish.

In total, 60 cars are making the inaugural trip to Cordele Motor Speedway this weekend.
