With a powerhouse group of drivers flooding the pit area, and the season entering its apex, the on track action kept fans on the edge of their seats at the Concrete Palace as these Northeast pilots put on a show that proves once again that Seekonk Speedway is the Action Track of the East. Taking down feature win on the night were Cory DiMatteo in the SK Modified® feature, Wayne Coury, Jr. in the Late Model feature, George Bessette, Jr. in the SK Light feature, Rich Hammann in the Limited Late Model feature, and Chris Danielczuk was a first time career feature winner in the Street Stock feature after a thrilling final lap. Topeka, Kans. – Bob Tasca III of Hope, RI popped open the roof of his Ford Mustang, basking in victory under the Heartland Motorsports Park lights. Tasca scored his second NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series Funny Car Wally in a delayed running of Sunday’s elimination rounds, but the feeling of winning in the final edition at Topeka was instant.
