STAFFORD, Conn. – Doug Coby wrapped a busy two days at his home track, Stafford Motor Speedway, with a strong third-place finish in the 51st annual NAPA Spring Sizzler on Saturday evening, May 13. Coby finished sixth in Friday’s NAPA Duel qualifying race, placing him just outside the top-10 for the drop of the green flag in Saturday’s 100-lap, $20,000 to win race.

THOMPSON, Conn. – Doug Coby will return to the seat of the No. 10 Mayhew Tools Modified this weekend at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. Set to compete in the Sunoco World Series 150, Coby will compete in the Doug Coby Racing entry looking to build on the speed the team had at Thompson in August.

His first Riverhead win seemed to open the flood gates – as the Milford, Connecticut, six-time Whelen Modified Tour champion has won three of the last four races at the track. In the only other event, he was racing at the front early before contact sidelined him from the race.
