For Michaud, he fought 59 other cars for a starting spot in 2005’s Seacoast Late Model Challenge, later taking the lead from seven-time ACT champion Jean-Paul Cyr for the win. For Mayberry, Red and Judy McDonald believed in a new Super Late Model series back in 2001 and provided the launching pad for the Pro All Stars Series some twenty-five years ago. Now, the two have partnered once again to lease the 1/3-mile facility on the New Hampshire seacoast, ready to give back and return the famed oval to its place in Northeast racing prominence.
