Kyle Soper Looks Toward Second Islip 300 Victory November 13th

No matter what he drives, Kyle Soper of Manorville knows how to do two things with a race car, win races and championships. For the third time in the past four seasons Kyle Soper brought home the Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modified championship honors at Riverhead Raceway for car owner Wayne Anderson. The tandem hope to ride that championship momentum to a second victory in the Islip 300 Saturday November 13th. Kyle won the 2019 edition of the $7,000 to win Tour Type Modified extravaganza. Tri Track Returning To Seekonk Speedway With Two Dates In 2022

SEEKONK, Mass. — Tri Track Open Modified Series officials released two more dates for the 2022 schedule on Tuesday evening, both at Seekonk Speedway in Massachusetts. The third-mile will host the two annual Tri Track events again next season — with the $10,000 to win Open Wheel Wednesday set for Wednesday, June 29 and the Haunted Hundred set to return on Saturday, October 22. Tri Track Open Modified Series Returning To Monadnock Speedway In 2022

SEEKONK, Mass. — Tri Track Open Modified Series officials announced on Wednesday the fifth date set for the 2022 season. The series will return to the high-banks of Monadnock Speedway on Saturday, April 30, as part of Monadnock’s opening weekend in New Hampshire. The track is a staple on the Tri Track schedule — with two events hosted at the track during the 2021 season.

Ryan Preece to Defend Riverhead Raceway Islip 300 on November 13th

When defending Islip 300 race winner Ryan Preece of Berlin, Ct. walks through the gates of Riverhead Raceway Saturday November 13th to defend his 2020 race victory, a flood of emotions are bound to come over the popular driver. It will mark the first time that Ryan has strapped back into the Eddie & Connie Partridge owned Tour Type Modified since that fateful Friday night in Richmond, Virginia. Shortly after Preece’s win in the Virginia Is For Racing Lovers 150 WMT event, triumph turned to tragedy when car owner Eddie Partridge was stricken with a fatal heart attack after leaving the race track for the trip home. SEEKONK, Mass. — Chase Dowling started at the front and never relinquished the top spot in a victorious afternoon at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, October 23. Dowling bested the field in the Tri Track Open Modified Series Haunted Hundred — outlasting 26 of the top Modified drivers in New England to score a $6,000 check in the season-finale.

The New England fan-favorite NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) has been added to the lineup for New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s (NHMS) 2022 NASCAR race weekend, July 16-17. The modifieds will kick off the race weekend on Doubleheader Saturday, July 16 with a 100-lap race followed by a 200-lap NASCAR Xfinity Series (NXS) race. The NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) will cap off the weekend with a 301-lap race on Sunday, July 17. (more…)
