SEEKONK, Mass. — In all the years of the Boston Louie Memorial NEMA Midget racing Classic, there has never been a list of talent assembled like the one that will visit Seekonk Speedway this Saturday night, July 15. As the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites invade Seekonk for the Boston Louie Memorial events, they join a full night of racing that also includes the Senior Tour Antique Racers and Seekonk’s Pro Stocks and Late Models, both in extra-distance races. It’s been quite the year for Jake Trainor so far in 2023. Trainor picked up a big victory during the Little 500 in Indianapolis on Memorial Day weekend and visited Seekonk Speedway for the first time this year during Open Wheel Wednesday on June 28.

Hot on the heels of a Chili Bowl Nationals A main feature event win as a co-owner, Tim Bertrand/Bertrand Motorsports has announced that one of the most recognized names in American motorsports, Sammy Swindell, will return to the Northeastern Midget Association on Saturday, July 15th at Seekonk’s Boston Louie Seymour Memorial. SEEKONK, Mass. — The winged warriors are heading for the Action Track of the East this Wednesday night. Seekonk Speedway will light up the racing world with a mid-week event on Wednesday, August 27, as the annual Boston Louie Seymour Memorial hits the third-mile with both the NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites. Joining the card in their inaugural season, the Northeast Supermodified Series, presented by PASS, will also be on the track for 75 laps of exciting racing. (more…)

In only his second season in the NEMA Lites, Dylan Coutu took down an emotional victory in his family owned #53 besting last year’s champion Jake Trainor in the Seymour 29. In the Jeremy Decourcy Smoke ‘Em 25, Randy Cabral came from the middle of the field and dominated the 25 lap main event on Friday night.
