(Stafford Springs, CT) — Stafford’s premier SK Modified® division has added another contender for NAPA Rookie of the Year honors, with Alexander Pearl making the move up from the SK Light division for the 2025 season. Pearl will be behind the wheel of the #71 car with sponsorship from USNE Power, helping to light the fuse on his rookie campaign.
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Coming into the 2023 season at Stafford Speedway, Alexander Pearl and the #7 Darling Auto Parts team were riding a 5-season streak of winning at least one race per season, dating back to Pearl’s rookie season of 2018. Although Pearl notched three second place finishes last season, he ended up winless for the first time in his SK Light career. With the 2024 season set to kick off at the end of April, Pearl has his sights set on starting a new winning streak.

Scoring feature wins on the night was Bryan Narducci in the SK Modified® feature, Adam Gray for the second consecutive week in the Late Model feature, Alexander Pearl in the SK Light feature, Devon Jencik in the Limited Late Model feature, and Bobby Stirk, III in the Street Stock feature. (Stafford Springs, CT)—So close and yet so far. Those words sum up Alexander Pearl’s last three seasons in Stafford Speedway’s SK Light division. Pearl finished third in the 2019 standings, 4th in the 2020 standings, and third in last year’s standings, only 4 points behind Derek Debbis and Brian Sullivan, who finished tied.
