WHITINSVILLE, Mass. — After a few months off to regroup, Stan Mertz Racing and driver Woody Pitkat will return to the track this Saturday, October 23. The team is set for competition in the Tri Track Open Modified Series Haunted Hundred, a 100-lap race worth $6,000 to win. WHITINSVILLE, Mass. — Fresh off what was going to be a strong run at Stafford Motor Speedway last Friday night, the Stan Mertz Racing team spent the weekend scrambling after a motor issue ended that race abruptly for the team. However, as of Monday afternoon, the ship is back on track heading for a special race on Wednesday night.
