Barre, VT — Although it will be a grueling third event in just two weeks, American-Canadian Tour officials, fans and teams are excited to return to Lee USA Speedway for the New Hampshire Governor’s Cup 150. The Granite State seacoast oval has played host to the ACT Tour twenty-eight times since 1987 with some of the most iconic stars taking down wins on the quirky circuit. Last time out in 2021, defending ACT Tour champion D.J. Shaw took down his first ever win in North America’s most historic Late Model tour and looks to add his name to the wins list once again. Stafford Springs, CT — The American-Canadian Tour broke a 38-year drought by entering the Stafford Motor Speedway complex on Friday, the first time the series had raced the iconic 1/2-mile since 1985. Thirty-four teams from across New England and Quebec made the trip to kick off the Brookside Equipment Sales Southern New England Triple Crown and, for many, take their first laps at the Connecticut oval.

Plenty of novelty awaits the Granite State Pro Stock Series entering its twelfth year on the road. And to get it all started, the New Hampshire-based touring circuit is returning to where last year’s championship chase wrapped up.
Saturday’s Hedges Excavating 100 at Star Speedway kicks off an eight-race schedule that introduces two new venues to the series’ repertoire and visits the Empire State for the second time in series history.

On Friday, September 23, and Saturday, September 24, Seekonk Speedway will crown nine champions in the finals of the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. As Fast Friday and NASCAR Saturday teams get ready to compete in the Final Four events, the championships are anyone’s game. Once you are in, you have a chance. Bob Tasca III (Funny Car), Troy Coughlin Jr. (Pro Stock) and Joey Gladstone (Pro Stock Motorcycle) won the 14th of 22 races during the 2022 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season at Topeka, KS. Tasca III is from Hope, RI.
Group 1 returned to action Saturday evening at Wiscasset Speedway for their second race of the season. The Norms Used Cars Pro Stocks had center stage with a 50 lap spotlight feature, along with racing in the Super Streets, Thunder 4 Minis, and 4-cylinder Pros. (more…)
