(Sept. 3, 2025) – With a little over a week remaining until the roar of NASCAR engines return to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops Night Race weekend, Sept. 11-13, track officials said Wednesday that the rebuild project following the MLB Speedway Classic in August is nearly complete. More than 200 workers from MLB and 100 BMS operations employees and contractors have been working non-stop since the final out of the historic MLB Speedway Classic to change the facility from a baseball stadium back into its normal setting of a world-class NASCAR venue.
Daytona Beach, FL (August 23, 2025) – Ram officially confirmed Friday that Kaulig Racing will become the anchor factory team for the truck maker’s highly anticipated return to NASCAR, starting with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2026.
Kaulig Racing, founded a decade ago by Ohio-based entrepreneur, community leader and philanthropist Matt Kaulig, is poised to field up to five Ram 1500 trucks in NASCAR’s Craftsman Truck Series starting with the February 13, 2026, season kick-off race at Daytona International Speedway. The race will mark the first time a factory supported team will carry the Ram badge in a NASCAR race since 2012.

USAC Big Cars Heading for Springfield
Springfield, IL August 6, 2025- It’s less than two weeks until the rumble of USAC’s Silver Crown dirt championship will bounce off the massive Illinois State Fair grandstand, as the 62nd Bettenhausen 100 takes center stage Saturday, August 16. The Bettenhausen continues a tradition of championship dirt car racing on the last Saturday of the fair that goes back to 1934. A full field of the mighty uprights is expected to enter the grounds on August 16.

(Aug. 5, 2025) – Tony Schumacher, the winningest Top Fuel driver in the history of the NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, will make his return to the driver’s seat when he debuts the No. 15 American Communications Construction Top Fuel dragster for Rick Ware Racing (RWR) in the Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals Aug. 29-Sept. 1 at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park.
As reported by Tom Howard of Motorsport, NASCAR champion and Daytona 500 winner Kurt Busch believes the World Rally Championship (WRC) has the potential to crack America after receiving a taste of the series at Rally Finland.
The 2004 NASCAR Cup champion and 2017 Daytona 500 winner made the trip to Finland to experience the WRC for the first time. The 46-year-old has been a long-time admirer of rallying and in 2014 competed in the Monza Rally Show, driving an M-Sport-built Ford Fiesta RS WRC.

The final weekend of June will be one of “firsts” when it comes to NASCAR racing.
For the first time this season, the NASCAR Cup Series will race at a venue for the second time, though in the interim, Atlanta Motor Speedway has acquired new entitlement as EchoPark Speedway.
