The Granite State Pro Stock Series is heading back to Stafford Motor Speedway as part of the 54th Annual Spring Sizzler Weekend — Friday, April 25, 2026!
It’s been a few years since our last visit in 2021, when Joey Polewarczyk Jr. took home the win in the Casagrande Builders 75, but we’re thrilled to return to one of the premier racing facilities in the Northeast.
Third Consecutive NAPA Spring Sizzler Victory Sees Matt Clement Leading Stafford’s Limited Late Model Division
(Stafford Springs, CT)—As the saying goes, the only two things in life that are certain are death and taxes. With a third consecutive NAPA Spring Sizzler victory to kick off the 2025 season, Matt Clement and the #59 Utility Services New England Limited Late Model team could be added to that cliché as perpetual winners of the season opening event. Clement’s third consecutive NAPA Spring Sizzler victory was his fourth overall Sizzler victory, meaning that nearly 25% of his 21 career feature wins have come in that event.
Spring Sizzler Win Puts Championship Hopes in Motion for Bert Ouellette
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Coming into the 2025 racing season at Stafford Motor Speedway, Street Stock driver Bert Ouellette hadn’t won a feature since July 29 during the 2022 season. During NAPA Spring Sizzler® Weekend on April 27, Ouellette used some slick moves to work his #84 American Sign / J&J Trucking Chevrolet into the lead just past the halfway point of the 20-lap race and he went on to capture the checkered flag, his first win in 2 years and 9 months since his last Stafford victory.
Puleo, Varricchio, Hovey, Sullivan, Clement, & Ouellette Score NAPA Spring Sizzler Feature Wins at Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® along with its five weekly divisions on Sunday, April 27th. Feature winners on the day were Jon Puleo in the SK Modified® feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. in the Late Model feature, Nickolas Hovey and Brian Sullivan were the winners of the two 20-lap SK Light duels that will set the starting field for the SK Light 30-lap feature on the Friday, May 9 Weekly Racing card, Matt Clement in the Limited Late Model feature, and Bert Ouellette in the Street Stock feature.
Stephen Kopcik Wins 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler At Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway hosted the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring,” on Sunday, April 27th with Open Modified cars. Stephen Kopcik overcame an early race penalty to work his way back to the front of the field and took control of the race in the second half to score his first career NAPA Spring Sizzler® victory.
Stafford Speedway’s NAPA Spring Sizzler Entry List Approaching 40 Cars

The entry list for now stands at 37 cars strong for “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring”, and it is a top-notch field of cars that includes 8 former Stafford track champions and 3 former NAPA Spring Sizzler® race winners.
Manafort Family to Serve as Grand Marshals For Stafford Speedway’s 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway is pleased to announce that the Manafort Family will serve as the Grand Marshals of the 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler®, set for April 26-27. The Manafort Family will start the NAPA Spring Sizzler 100-lap event with the most famous words in motorsports, ‘Drivers start your engines.’
Max Zachem Eyes First Stafford Victory at 53rd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway is set to kick off its 2025 racing season with the 53rd “Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® on April 26-27. Max Zachem teamed up with the Prestige Motorsports team owned by Doug DiPisa towards the end of the 2023 season and he is looking to build on his best Stafford finish of third from last season.
“We have run about a dozen or more races together since the end of 2023 with multiple top-10’s and a few top-5’s,” said Zachem. “Stafford, Waterford, Star, and Monadnock have all been great tracks for us and we all want to win badly. We have a great bunch of guys where everyone has their job and everyone works well together. We were able to jell together right out of the gate.”
