The first entry comes from defending Sizzler® winner Matt Hirschman, who has entered his signature #60 modified in the 2023 edition of the Spring Sizzler, the same car he drove to victory in 2022. Hirschman will be looking to become the 9th different repeat winner of “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring.”
(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 49th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final will be headlined by the 80-lap, $15,000 to win, Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series event but also on the schedule is the SK Light Modified Invitational. A unique twist on SK Light Modified racing, the 20-lap feature will be open to any SK Light Modified competitor that has not won a race at Stafford in 2022.

The 13-lap race is a tribute to Ted Christopher, Stafford’s all-time winningest driver with 109 career SK Modified® wins, 131 overall feature wins, and 9 SK Modified® track championships.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For the third consecutive season at Stafford Motor Speedway, the Ted Christopher Safety Initiative, established prior to the start of the 2020 season by Christopher’s wife Quinn, will provide three Stafford drivers with new safety equipment. Following the conclusion of the TC 13 Shootout on September 9, three drivers will be awarded a brand new racing seat from The (La)Joie of Seating.
