Owen, Durand, Chapman, Palardy, & Waterman Score Sept. 22 Maybury Kids Night Feature Wins at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted Maybury Kids Night on September 22 with Stafford’s five weekly divisions in feature action. Scoring feature wins were Todd Owen in the SK Modified® feature, Andrew Durand in the Late Model feature, Tyler Chapman in the SK Light feature, Damian Palardy in the Limited Late Model feature, and Ryan Waterman in the Street Stock feature. Kevin Gambacorta finished second in the Late Model feature which was good enough to clinch the 2023 Late Model championship with one race to go. (more…)

Ron Silk Seeking Third Consecutive Stafford Victory in NAPA Fall Final

(Stafford Springs, CT)—In their last 2 starts at Stafford Speedway, Ron Silk and the #16 Future Homes / Blue Mountain Machine team have managed to find their way to NAPA Victory Lane. Silk won the 2022 NAPA Fall Final and then won the 51^st Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® with a dominating drive that saw him lead 86 of 100 laps back in April.

Friday, September 8th Maybury Kids Night / TC 13 Shoot Out at Stafford Speedway Postponed Due to Rain

(Stafford Springs, CT)—The Friday, September 8th Maybury Kids Night / TC 13 Shootout program at Stafford Motor Speedway has been postponed due to rain and lightening in the area. The Maybury Material Handling Kids Night will be rescheduled to Friday, September 22nd while the TC 13 Shootout will be moved to NAPA Championship Night on September 29th. All tickets for September 8th will be good for either the September 22nd or September 29th event.

Mikey Flynn Enjoying Career Best Season at Stafford Speedway; Has Sights Set on First SK Modified® Win

(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Hampden, MA native, Mikey Flynn, driver of the #24 Ballyheigue Farm SK Modified® at Stafford Speedway, the 2023 season has been the best season of his 4-year career in the division. Flynn came into the 2023 season with 1 top-5 finish and a best finish of 15^th in the points standings. Through 14 races this season, Flynn has already notched 5 top-5 finishes and 9 top-10 finishes to sit in fourth place in the standings.

Adam Gray Wins Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50 at Stafford

Adam Gray came up the big winner of the night by winning the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50, his first ever extra distance feature win at Stafford.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway’s Late Model division takes center stage this Friday, September 1 with the biggest race of the season, the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. The extra distance Late Model race has taken several different forms over the years with the race varying in distance from 60 laps, 100 laps, and 150 laps before the race settled into its current 50-lap format in 2015.
