SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway will be back on the track on Friday, June 7 and Saturday, June 8, with another doubleheader of New England short-track racing on tap. Friday includes the third round of the Fast Friday season for 2024, with the Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars, Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stocks, Sport 4’s and Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandits and Outlaws all on track. Here’s How Northeast Drivers Did at NASCAR’s World Wide Tech and the Indy Car Race
Austin Cindric won the race while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT came in fifth. Not so fortunate were Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended his day in 29th while Corey LaJoie ended up 32nd. Corey is the son of Randy LaJoie a two-time Xfinity Champion who grew up in Norwalk, CT before moving to the Charlotte, NC.
Scott Dixon ended up the winner of the Indy Car Street Race in the Detroit, MI area while Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT ended up ninth.
