Wiscasset Speedway hosted their Group #2 Championship Night on Saturday, which was highlighted by the Amsoil Dominator Strictly Shootout. The annual event, founded by Dave Brannon and sponsored by Lee Mortenson and Four Season Synthetic, draws in some of the best Street Stock drivers from across New England. LEE, N.H. – Corey Bubar was probably not the favorite to win Sunday evening’s Bosowski Properties 150. But in the season finale for the Granite State Pro Stock Series, Bubar stole the show.
The Windham, Maine, racer held off Jimmy Renfrew, Jr. to claim the $8,500 victory at Lee USA Speedway, closing out Lee USA Speedway’s year-ending Russ Conway’s Oktoberfest spectacular.
U.S. Legend Cars International (USLCI) is bringing the Road Course World Finals to New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) for the second consecutive year this weekend, Oct. 6-8. Seventy-two competitors from six countries will compete on the 1.6-mile full road course in pursuit of the 2023 world championship. (more…)
Barre, VT — The 61 Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank once again proved itself to be the Toughest Short Track Race in North America on Sunday, and not just for the American-Canadian Tour and Maplewood/Irving Late Models. The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors joined their headlining brethren in providing some of the hardest racing of the season with everyone looking to make their mark on an iconic Northeast tradition. Yes, there will be cars and coffee and food. But there will also be music, trophies, raffles, autographs (autographs?) and more. On Sunday, October 8th, at 9:30 am, during our normal Cars and Coffee Darien event, we will take some time to dedicate a brass plaque commemorating Goodwives Shopping Center and the Lock, Stock, & Barrel restaurant as the starting location of the last real Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining Sea Memorial Trophy Dash on April 1st, 1979.
